The Eugene Symphony invites middle and high school music instructors to apply to participate in EYMA (Encouraging Young Musicians to Achieve) for the 18-19 school year. At no cost to participating schools, Teaching Artists drawn from the symphony’s professional ensemble will work with select schools' band and orchestra instructors to co-develop a series of five one-hour visits. These sessions could include sectionals, master classes, rehearsals, discussions or college/career explorations by ESA musicians.

Deadline to Apply: Friday, September 21
School Notification: Wednesday, September 26

School Selection: A limited number of select schools will receive five (5) visits by Eugene Symphony musicians throughout the 18-19 school year. Priority will be given to orchestra programs, schools in rural districts, and schools that have not participated in the program in recent years.
