Survey to explore support for nuclear power generation in Murrumbidgee

Gauging opinions on nuclear power generation in Murrumbidgee Local Government Area

We are interested in exploring a diverse range of energy solutions, including the generation of nuclear power within our council area. We are inviting you to participate in an online survey so we can understand the community's appetite for a nuclear power generation facility to be located in our council area as a source of energy.

As part of this, existing renewable energy infrastructure, including solar and wind farms, would be dismantled at the end of their operational life. The land would then be reclaimed for agricultural purposes, aligning with sustainability and resource optimisation goals.

The results of this survey will determine whether we proceed with research and undertake a more formal poll in the future or not.
