Instructions

The purpose of this survey is to identify needs for potential future appropriations and awards from the point source Water Quality Improvement Fund (WQIF). Currently, WQIF point source funding is limited to nutrient reduction technology and conveyance infrastructure (where a conveyance project diverts wastewater from one eligible treatment works to another eligible treatment works for nutrient removal purposes) for Chesapeake Bay dischargers.

If you have multiple projects at multiple facilities, you may submit a survey response for each project. For this year we have included a PDF version of the survey so that you may gather the appropriate project information prior to entering information into the survey platform. The survey is anticipated to take between 30 to 60 minutes to complete (assuming project information is readily available). Should you have questions related to the survey, you can contact Miranda Jaroneski at 804-839-6326 or cwfap@deq.virginia.gov.

Please respond to the survey by May 24, 2024.
