Survey for industry, practitioners, regulators, researchers and students

Highly heterogeneous and complex geologic settings present significant technical challenges in remediating contamination and achieving clean-up goals within reasonable timeframes, particularly for PFAS and other emerging contaminants. Sequence stratigraphy offers an updated approach for better characterizing aquifer heterogeneity and predicting the fate and transport of contaminants between (and beyond) boreholes.
This crcCARE workshop will use numerous case studies and exercises to teach how sequence stratigraphy-based CSMs can be used to develop effective investigative and remedial strategies at complex geologic sites. Your trainers for this workshop will be Junaid Sadeque, Ph.D. (AECOM) and Ryan Samuels, MS (AECOM)
