Welcome! This survey captures community comments about DRAFT CIDA Professional Standards 2028. These accreditation standards are used to evaluate higher education programs that prepare students for entry-level interior design practice and advanced study in the United States, Canada, and other countries.
The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.
There are three sections.
SECTION 1. Asks you to consider overall content organization and the clarity of student learning level descriptions.
SECTION 2. Asks you to consider the clarity and appropriate of each Standard (1-7) and the criteria (called Expectations) that are used to evaluate achievement.
SECTION 3. Asks for your input about overall scope and efficiency of content and the digital/graphic user experience.
Professional Standards 2028 are slated for publication in January 2027 with an anticipated implementation date for program reviews beginning January 1, 2028.
