The Shuler Hensley Awards (SHA) adjudication panel is comprised of qualified community arts professionals and supporters. These individuals are passionate about supporting Georgia’s high school theater arts programs. They volunteer their time and expertise to tirelessly travel the state, attend productions and provide useful feedback to participating schools. The Shuler Awards seek experienced theater arts professionals, community leaders, and educators. Shuler adjudicators may not be affiliated in any capacity with a participating Georgia high school. Adjudicators are thoroughly screened and trained before evaluating their first high school musical.
The SHA program is extremely grateful for and indebted to these gracious and talented volunteers. Interested adjudicators must submit this application, email a resume or bio to Natalie Barrow (nbarrow@cobbenergycentre.com), and commit to the SHA Adjudicator Agreement. The SHA Advisory Committee will review all applications and notify the 2014 SHA Adjudication Panel by September 15, 2014.
Adjudication Events (located at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre):
SHA Judge Training: September 14 or 28, 1-4 pm (mandatory – choose either date)
SHA Final Evaluation Weekend: March 19-22 (must evaluate at least 1 musical this weekend)
Results Roundtable: March 29, Time TBD (mandatory)
2015 Shuler Hensley Awards: April 23, 6:30 pm Pre-Show Party & Red Carpet, 7:30 pm Curtain
