Sign-on Letter: Ensure Access to Community Services for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities or Autism (LD967)

Maine's Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities services system is on the verge of collapse due to a decade of rate cuts compounded by rising costs. This crisis not only threatens to fail our moral and legal obligation to provide life-necessary services to Maine people, but puts over 12,000 jobs and $400 million in economic activity at risk. We, the undersigned, representing families, care givers, and advocates for Mainers with Developmental Disabilities, therefore urge you to fund LD 967 and restore stability and hope for our people.

If you are representing families, care givers, or advocates for Mainers with Developmental Disabilities and would like to show your support for funding the bill, Community Connect Maine is offering a "sign-on" opportunity.

Please add your name, town and role by 10:00AM, June 1, 2017.  The letter sign-on names will be submitted to the Appropriations and Financial Affairs Committee on June 2, 2017

Thank you for supporting this effort.
