Canadian Service Dog Industry Health Practitioners and Clinicians Survey
1.
Introduction to the Survey
About Us The Canadian Foundation for Animal-Assisted Support Services (CFAS) endeavours to inspire, promote, and sustain the innovation, coordination, and integration of exceptional Animal-Assisted Services (AAS) within Canada's healthcare, social services, justice, corrections, and voluntary sectors in order to build a healthier, safer, and barrier-free Canada with people, pets, and partners (animals in service). For more information please visit - www.cf4aass.org.
Understanding the Perspective of Individuals that Provide Healthcare and Health Services:
The survey is intended to capture the perspective of professionals who provide physical and mental health services to individuals who may benefit from acquiring or already benefit from having a service dog. Responses will help inform ways in which CFAS can best support excellence and unity in diversity within Canada's Animal-Assisted Services Industry.
Your voices and contributions toward this research matters and respondents will remain anonymous. Participation in the survey is voluntary, however, questions marked with an asterisk (*) require a response in order to continue. The data collected will be analyzed on a group basis. The final Canadian Service Dog Industry Study will include a summary of findings and will be shared on the CFAS’ website.
Timeline: The survey is estimated to take 12 minutes to complete and will be available until June 26, 2020.
