IAEP PETITION OF NO CONFIDENCE

at Hunters Ambulance (owned and operated by Hartford Healthcare)

We, the undersigned, hereby submit the following letter to Hartford Healthcare President and CEO Jeffrey Flaks:

Since late 2025, your corporation and the 911 responding heroes of Hunters Ambulance have continued to negotiate a new contract.

Despite the high quality, 24-7, lifesaving care these professionals provide to the numerous communities they serve, you continue to treat these men and women as outright disposable. For example, on October 1 you will remove all wage increases for the year 2026 from your proposal.

Is that the value your corporation places on its employees who respond to dangerous conditions and help those customers in desperate need of care and assistance?

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! If your company can afford a TV commercial during the Super Bowl, then it can afford to pay the EMS professionals of Hunters Ambulance a fair and living wage. It can also certainly afford to provide those same heroes with a say over changes to their working conditions.

We have lost confidence in the leadership team at Hunters Ambulance of [names and titles] and the oversight of Hartford Healthcare.

We demand this unacceptable behavior stop immediately. Stop bullying your own employees and investing thousands of dollars in a high-priced attorney to do the dirty work for you. Invest that money, time and effort into making Hunters the best possible EMS agency it can be to achieve the mission: responding and providing care to those in need.
