Story Slam 2019

Story slams are events that celebrate storytelling by inviting participants to share brief stories with an audience. Participants deliver the stories - often inspiring perspectives of hope, overcoming challenges, and passion for their profession.

The theme for the Texas Chapter Story Slam 2019 is: Resilience in Medicine

• Submissions due August 30, 2019
• Membership in ACP is required for submission.
• Presentations will be no more than 5 minutes
• By participating in the event, you are agreeing to sign over copyright for the audio/video recordings to Texas Chapter of American College of Physicians
• A limited number of presentations will be selected to participate
• Presenters must be registered and in attendance at the Annual Meeting and be willing to present to a live audience
• Invited presenters will be notified by September 26, 2019
• Use of note cards during the event is acceptable
• Permissions must be obtained if you cannot mask the identity of others mentioned in your story
