Secret Shopper: Winter 2026

WE go BIG! Secret Shopper Application

The Secret Shopper program is Whistler's most comprehensive customer reviewing program. We use our Whistler Experience model as the base for questions: WE GO BIG! We create Belonging. We Initiate with purpose. We Go Beyond every day. That's the Whistler Experience.

MANDATORY TRAINING & BENEFIT: Each Shopper is required to complete the WE GO BIG! online training, which provides access to the Whistler Blackcomb Spirit Pass and the local discount program offered by the Chamber of Commerce. There will also be a compulsory in-person, 1 hour training session in the Whistler Chamber of Commerce boardroom on January 7th which you will be paid $20 for.

In addition to enjoying the services and some free products/ experiences from participating businesses, shoppers will be paid $20 per shop. Both in-person and phone shops will be assigned, with each requiring a detailed report completed via Survey Monkey.

5.It's important you do not shop any person or business with whom you have a personal connection, such as colleagues, roommates, friends, or relatives. Please list any businesses that you cannot shop.
6.Have you attended any new Whistler Experience training sessions (October 2025+)?(Required.)

8.If you have any allergies, injuries, accessibility issues, etc. that may affect your shopping experience, please disclose them here.
9.This contract position requires you to complete 3-5 shops each week for 8 weeks of shopping between January 12 – March 8, 2026. Can you commit to this weekly and duration requirement?(Required.)
10.The program requires "shopping visits" to Gibbons' Dance Bars (e.g., Moe Joes, Buffalo Bills) which must occur between 10:00 PM and 1 AM. Are you available to complete shops during this late-night window?
11.This contractor position requires you to shop throughout Whistler, from Rainbow to Function Junction. Are you able to travel / visit each area?(Required.)
12.I confirm that, if successful, I will complete:
  • a 1 hour, in person training on January 7th (paid)
  • the online WE go BIG! training before shopping begins on January 12th, 2026
