Organizational Compass Review - Housing Sector Survey

About this Survey

Thank you for taking the time to respond to this survey as part of the Community Housing Transformation Centre’s Review of the Organizational Compass Tool. This survey should take approximately 15 to 20 minutes and is administered by SHS Inc., working in collaboration with the Centre. Background

The organizational compass is a 30-minute, free, online questionnaire and self-assessment tool designed to enhance the management of community housing buildings. The Centre, in partnership with SHS Inc., is exploring opportunities to refine and expand the Compass tool to ensure it continues to align with sector needs for sustainability and growth. To date, a series of workshops has been held with sector associations and partners to gather preliminary feedback, which has informed this survey.

This survey includes three parts:
  • About Your Organization. This section includes questions about your organization and your role within it.
  • Refining the Organizational Compass. This section presents potential opportunities and limitations of a refined Organizational Compass and asks you to rank your preferences.
  • Reacting to a Potential Prototype. This section presents a preliminary prototype of the ‘Organizational Compass 3.0’ and invites your feedback and initial reactions.
Please note that this survey does not require you to have completed the Organizational Compass. Before filling out the survey, please review the following section, which provides an overview of the Organizational Compass in its current form.

Use of Your Information

Your responses to the following questions will be kept confidential. However, they will not be anonymous, as we require your name and organization name. Only the Centre Project Team members and SHS Inc. will have access to the individual response data from this survey. We will not share your responses linked to your name or organization—responses will be summarized in an aggregate format.
