Adopt-a-Student Host Family Signup

The Adopt-a-Student program matches Davidson students with DCPC members to provide connection and support during their years at Davidson. The student/host relationship is largely left to the student and family to determine. Some check in from time to time, while others end up developing closer relationships with more frequent contact. Some families have provided meals, airport rides, orientation to the area, movie nights, and more - or less! Matches are made in the fall semester, and are usually, though not always, with first-year students. Some students in the program become active at DCPC and/or in Westminster Fellowship, while for others this is their primary point of contact with the church. The program is administered by Charles Houck on behalf of the Campus Ministry Committee. If you have any questions, please contact Charles at charles@houcks.net.
