Volunteer Descriptions

Site Set-up: On June 20th-21st, we need help getting the event grounds ready: from sound equipment and signage to setting up seating areas and getting the merch/raffle booths ready. We're looking for team players who don't mind lifting, carrying and possibly climbing ladders to help us get everything ready.

Traffic Control: We need help directing participants to park their motorcycles/cars in designated areas prior to registration. Then, get those same gals to the registration booth so that we can get them signed in! Must be comfortable directing traffic (cars and motorcycles) and able to stand for an extended period of time.

Registration Booth: You'll be responsible for asking participant's names, checking photo ID and checking our master registration list. You must also ensure that each participant signs the waiver and is given a bracelet, which allows them to come and go from the event grounds.

MX Track Spotter: New to BRB this year - DIRT BIKING! With one of the best MX tracks around, riders who own their own dirt bike and gear will be taking to the track during free-ride times and riding clinics on Saturday. We need spotters at several areas of the track to ensure the safety of everyone riding.

Leading Organized Rides: Have experience leading groups of riders? Are you confident and always thinking about safety? We're looking for ladies to help us lead the organized group rides on June 22. Detailed maps of the routes will be provided by the organizers.

First Aid: Have first aid qualifications, are a nurse, a doctor or in another relevant health care profession? Help us look out for the safety of everyone on-site, from our participants, volunteers and performers. You'll have access to a building with all necessary first aid equipment.

Merch Sales: We will be selling shirts, patches and other swag with our logo to help us cover our event costs. We may also be called upon to sell CDs and merch for the musicians.

Green Team: Help us keep the event grounds clean! Check the event grounds and pick up trash, empty garbage cans and portapotty/washing areas for adequate toilet paper and paper towel.

Vendor Set-up/Tear-down: Assist vendors with set-up and tear-down and check in with the vendors periodically to make sure everything is running smoothly. Lifting/carrying may be required.

Raffle Booth: We have some incredible swag items from our sponsors to raffle off, and all the proceeds go to charities.

Media: Into photography, videography, journalism or another type of media? Hit us up - we want you at the Ball to help us capture the magic and energy!
