NORTH LANARKSHIRE CARERS TOGETHER INVITE YOU TO HAVE YOUR SAY!

2025 CARER CONSULTATION - CARER BREATHER SERVICES

Supporting unpaid carers is a top priority for University Health & Social Care North Lanarkshire – funding has been available since Spring 2022, enabling North Lanarkshire's vibrant Third Sector to provide Carer Breather services.

Carer Breather offers carers innovative, cost-free breaks from their caring roles, allowing them to take some much-needed, regular time-out for themselves and recharge their batteries.

Last year, carer engagement helped assess impact, identifying the barriers experienced by carers and informing the current phase of this important area of work.

North Lanarkshire Carers Together would now like to further consult carers and carer groups to gauge any additional gaps in the current provision – what additional type of Carer Breather services and support would benefit carers the most?

Your contribution to this consultation is encouraged and valued – it ensures that any potential services are being developed based on what carers say they want and need and not just decided by professionals in services.

** Please note that you can take this survey more than once; we are very aware that some carers care for more than one person.
