Dear Participant,
You are invited to participate in a research study titled “Autonomous Agentic AI for Tail-Spend Procurement: An Empirical Survey of Feasibility, Governance, and Adoption in Mature Procurement Environments”. This study is conducted as part of my final dissertation project for my Executive Masters Programme in Operations and Supply Chain Management at Middlesex University Dubai.
This survey seeks to assess current tail-spend management practices, transaction cost dynamics, and procurement professionals' willingness to delegate routine purchasing activities to autonomous agentic AI systems. We kindly request you to participate in this survey, which will take approximately 7 to 10 minutes of your time. Your insights will contribute valuable empirical data toward understanding how modern manufacturing and industrial organizations can optimize operational efficiency and manage routine procurement.
Any information collected through this survey will be fully anonymous. No personal data (such as your name, email address, or specific employer) will be requested, collected, or stored. Responses will be aggregated to maintain strict confidentiality and prevent the identification of specific respondents or organizations. Individual data will not be made available to third parties under any condition.
It is entirely up to you whether or not to participate. If you decide to participate, please answer the questions below. You can withdraw from the study at any time while completing the survey by closing your browser. However, it will not be possible to withdraw your answers after submission since no personal data is collected to link responses back to individuals.
The data collected will be used exclusively for my dissertation thesis and related academic outputs. The study is conducted in strict accordance with Middlesex University Dubai ethical guidelines and has been reviewed and approved by the University Research Ethics Committee.
