GTHA Annual Lottery

The Annual Lottery has been a long standing tradition at GTHA - netting about $10,000 each year for the association.

However, the front office has received a lot of negative feedback in recent years in regards to the lottery being a required fundraising tool.

So, the GTHA Board has decided to re-evaluate the program and strategize our best way forward by polling our members.

We would greatly appreciate your participation in this brief survey.

1.Have you participated in the GTHA lottery previously?
2.Are you happy with the GTHA Lottery and would like to see it continue as it has?
3.Would you prefer to see the GTHA Lottery become optional?
4.If the GTHA Lottery was optional, would you participate if all of the funds earned went into a GTHA scholarship fund?
5.If the GTHA Lottery was optional, would you participate if part of the funds went to your players account and part of the funds went into a GTHA scholarship fund?
6.If the GTHA Lottery was optional, would you participate if all of the funds went to your players account?
7.In the past, lottery tickets have sold for $23/ticket (but players could sell them for more than that to family and friends.)  Would you like to see that amount stay about the same ($25), go down (meaning the payouts would decrease), or go up (meaning the payouts would increase.)
8.Does it matter to you if the payout schedule is adjusted to less payouts/season?
