Certain TEL reduces risk e.g. provides safety to test out ideas. This can lead to age limits being removed to learning certain skills
TEL applications can reduce cost of operating expensive equipment but still enable students to learn the skills so the opportunity to practice and reduce impact of failure
TEL helps to develop resilience and robustness to failure and trying again because of barrier reduction and timely feedback
