* 1. We see them lined up for use at street corners in San Jose, Oakland, and San Francisco. Some say the rentable scooters are the only way to get around in our heavily congested downtowns. Others say the vehicles are a hazard to pedestrians and motorists alike and are often “underfoot.” What do you think? Should urban rental scooters be more tightly regulated?
