For the ASPECT & First Work Webinar Series

Thank you for applying to be a presenter for the first ASPECT-First Work webinar series.
Background

Employment services in Ontario are currently delivered through an outputs versus and outcomes-based model. As BC service providers know from experience, this is a significant shift in the way employment services are offered and some Ontario service providers will not be successful under the new model.

ASPECT, in partnership with First Work, would like to offer a series of webinars for Ontario service providers. We are recruiting ASPECT service providers who can present on one or more of the following webinar topics listed below.
Why Present?

As a Presenter, you will have the chance to:

·       Make between $250 - $500 per webinar.
·       Help your Ontario colleagues to prepare for an outcomes-based model.
·       Provide information and advice you wished that you had had.
·       Gain experience presenting and presenting by webinar.
Webinar Topics

Those attending the webinar will be service providers throughout Ontario. At question 11 of this application form, you will be asked to choose the topic one of the following topics. If you would like to present on more than one topic, please fill out the form again for each topic of which you would like to present.

Presentations should be focused on sharing factual information and/or personal experience about:

1. Outcomes-based WorkBC Model: a review of how it works and how it’s changed since 2012.

2. Making the transition to an outcomes-based employment services model: what I wish I had known.

3. Tough management decisions – preparing your staff and your organization for an outcomes-based employment services model.

4. Questions Answered: Learning how to adapt to an outcomes-based employment service model.
