Thank you for your interest in Term One of Theatre Club at The Old Vic. Theatre Club is a free 10-week course that uses theatre skills to build confidence, foster connections and support wellbeing.
Term One will run from Tues 17 Nov - Tues 09 Feb, with a focus on devising, led by performer and Old Vic Education Associate Ben Vardy.

How to take part (2 steps):

Complete this form to request a place on one of our taster workshops. Attending a taster is the first step to be considered for the 10-week course. Please note: a taster place doesn’t guarantee a place on the full programme.
Step 2 - After the taster
Everyone who attends a taster workshop will receive a short joining form to confirm they’d like to be considered for the full programme. Based on eligibility and availability, we’ll then confirm the final course places.
About the taster
The taster is not an audition. There will be no putting anyone on the spot and it’s designed for complete beginners. It’s simply a chance to have fun in a relaxed session and see whether the programme feels like the right fit for you before you apply. It's also our chance to talk you through what taking part actually involves.

How taster places are offered
We have 30 places per session on either Mon 19 Oct, 6.30pm - 8.30pm or Tue 20 Oct, 6.30pm - 8.30pm. If the tasters are oversubscribed, we’ll run a fair ballot, prioritising people who meet the programme eligibility listed on our website. We’ll email everyone by Mon 12 Oct to confirm taster places.
