Objectives:

1. Cite a variety of common scenarios where consultation with a gynaecologic pathology expert is requested.
2. Develop a deeper understanding of the process by which the consultant evaluates cases sent for second opinion.
3. Identify the key clinical and pathologic elements that must be provided when a case is sent for external consultation in gynaecologic and obstetrics pathology.
