ABPM MOC Part III Survey

The ABPM is carefully weighing several options for improvements and enhancements to MOC.  Many ABMS Member Boards are exploring longitudinal assessment as an innovative approach to MOC Part III. Longitudinal assessment uses shorter, more frequent assessments with spaced repetition, a research-backed method shown to improve learning and retention. Within the MOC Part III pilots, many ABMS Member Boards have designed programs where Diplomates use an online technology platform, at their convenience, to answer a small number of multiple choice questions every quarter.  In such pilots, diplomates receive immediate feedback on the question, a short narrative about the topic and have access to a dashboard showing performance over time.

The ABPM is interested in your feedback as we explore updates to MOC.
