Youth Services Fashion Show: Threads of Tradition & Tomorrow

Youth Services invites creators of all ages and experience levels to step into the spotlight for a one-of-a-kind fashion show celebrating culture, creativity, and self-expression.


This show welcomes community and non-community members, beginners to seasoned designers—everyone is invited.

✨ Design Categories
Traditional – Handcrafted, ancestral, and community-inspired pieces such as tops, bottoms, and full outfits that honor cultural roots.
Contemporary – Bold blends of traditional motifs with modern silhouettes and street-influenced designs.
Upcycled – Repurposed materials transformed into creative, wearable art that tells a new story.

👟 Event Details
Designers must provide their own models to walk the catwalk wearing their creations.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded.

This is your chance to experiment, express, and shine, while keeping designs appropriate for a family-friendly event. Designs should not promote alcohol, drugs, gangs, tobacco/vaping, nudity, sexual content, firearms, or profanity.

Have fun, get creative, and bring your vision to life on the runway.

COMMITMENT TO PARTICIPATE

You can count on my full participation in Youth Services Community Fashion Show. I pledge to conduct myself in a manner that will bring only credit to the Salt River Indian Community. I will treat all participants, presenters, chaperones, facilitators, and staff with respect. I pledge to remain drug, tobacco, and alcohol free during the entire event.

MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION/ LIABILITY RELEASE

If the participant is a minor, this form must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. I hereby approve the participation of my son/daughter in the Youth Services Community Fashion Show.
In the event of illness or accident, I give my consent for him/her to receive medical attention. Also, I will not hold liable the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, or any of its agents, volunteers or other organizations involved in this conference. I will also be responsible for any damages to public or private property done by the above named minor during the entirety of above mentioned event.
