1. Complete the AIM for STEM Careers Online Application. When you have answered every question in the electronic application click the "Done" button. You can't save the online application and return to it at a later date. You must complete and submit the online application at one time.

Your application will be automatically sent to the AIM for STEM Careers project team. The purpose of this educational research project is to increase career development skills of STEM students at Livingstone College. The online application consists of 21 questions.

Please read each question carefully and respond accurately. You must answer every question in the online application. After you have answered all 21 questions, click the "Done" button to submit the online application to the AIM for STEM Careers project team.

Only 25 Livingstone College STEM juniors and seniors will be selected to participate in the program.

AIM for STEM Careers participants must be:

A. Livingstone College juniors or seniors from the Biology Department, Mathematics Department, or Computer Information Systems Department.

B. Livingstone College juniors or seniors who are 100% sure they want a STEM job immediately (1-5 months) after graduation. If it is determined that participants do not follow the above criteria, they will be expelled from the program and receive no compensation for participation. Also, if it is determined that participants do not follow program rules (e.g., attendance policies, assignment submission polices) they will be expelled from the program and receive no compensation for participation. You will receive one verbal/electronic notification of violation of program rules. The next notification will result in expulsion from the program and you will receive no financial compensation.

The project team will review each application and determine applicant selection. Notification of selection to participate in AIM for STEM Careers will be sent to all applicants via students' Livingstone College e-mail account (e.g., @students.livingstone.edu) and non-Livingstone College e-mail account (e.g., @gmail.com) by October 3, 2016 (by 5:00pm). In some cases you may be contacted via text message. Program sessions will take place on Fridays from 4:00pm - 5:30pm in Room 202 Duncan Science Building. Fall 2016 program session dates include: October 14, October 28, November 4, November 11, November 18. Spring 2017 program session dates include: February 17, February 24, March 10, March 17, April 14, April 21. Applicants will be selected based on adherence to project requirements, eligibility, GPA, completion of application, and quality of the essay. Only students who are really serious about securing a better future should apply.

By completing and submitting this application, if you are accepted into the program, you agree to adhere to the program requirements outlined in the AIM for STEM Careers website (www.aimforstemcareers.com). The project team expects to receive many excellent applications during the Fall 2016 recruitment period, however, only 25 students will be selected. You can't save the online application. You must complete and submit the online application at one time.

When you arrive at the "Thank you for completing the AIM for STEM Careers Online Application" screen simply close your Internet browser.
