Welcome to Our Survey

Dear Parent/Caregiver,
This research explores how language background and digital media use relate to children’s development, focusing on both monolingual and bilingual children with and without autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our goal is to better understand how different linguistic environments and media exposure influence children’s language skills, social communication, and overall development.
As part of this study, you will be asked to complete three questionnaires:
Language Background Questionnaire (BIPAQ) – Collecting information about your child’s linguistic environment and language use.
Language in Digital Media Questionnaire (LaDiMeQ) – Assessing your child’s exposure to different languages through digital media.
Social Communication Questionnaire (SCQ) – Measuring aspects of social communication, especially in children with ASD.
Your responses will help improve our understanding of how media shapes language learning and child development.

If you have a child/children with or without ASD between the ages 5-10, you are invited to fill out the current survey.
Participation is 100% voluntary.
The survey is available in multiple languages for your convenience.
* In the questionnaire we use the term "home language" to refer to a language that is not a majority language in Israel (e.g. Russian).

If you are interested to obtain the results of the survey, you can contact the research team (see contact details below). Your responses will be treated as strictly confidential and will be used for research purposes. You will not be identified in any report or publication. The results of the survey will be disseminated through scientific publications as well as by means of social media platforms.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
Thank you for your valuable contribution to this research!
