C-Tran Board Composition Survey
Please take this brief survey regarding C-Tran service in La Center and the recent C-Tran board composition updates.
On Wednesday, September 3, the C-Tran Board Committee voted to approve a 3-3-3 board structure, which was previously a 3 (Vancouver) - 2 (County) - 4 (Small city) structure. The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) recommends a 4 (Vancouver) - 3 (County) - 2 (Small city) board composition. By approving the 3-3-3 board structure, the C-Tran board may be found non-compliant by WSDOT, which could allow the state to withhold $10 million of funding, and future transportation grant funding. The small cities currently make up about 18% of C-Tran service but are requesting equal representation on the C-Tran board.
