Alamo Regional Transit (ART) operates a reduced-fare student transportation service for areas that meet service requirements. This service is intended to fill gaps that the traditional school bus system may not cover. Please complete the following information to request transportation with ART. Once information is submitted, ART will evaluate your request and notify you if we can accommodate it, or if more information is needed. Service Requirements:
  • A minimum of 8 passengers per day in your area is required for this service
  • Guardians must submit a completed form for each child
  • Distance between pick-up and drop-off locations cannot exceed 2 miles
  • Must reside in our 12-county region: Atascosa, Bandera, Comal (excluding New Braunfels), Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, McMullen, Medina, and Wilson
  • Qualifying schools and seating are limited: spots are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis
  • Requests may take up to 3 business days to process before transportation can begin
  • Submitting this form does not mean that transportation is guaranteed: you will be notified via email if/when this application is accepted
