Golden Bear Pass Application
The Golden Bear Pass gives free entry to most places operated by California State Parks. The Golden Bear Pass is free to Tribal TANF recipients and does not effect eligibility to receive other public benefits.
As Tribal TANF administrators, you will complete this form on behalf of your clients. As a Tribal TANF administrator facilitating Golden Bear Pass applications, you are responsible for:
1. Ensuring that this application link is kept within your organization and not shared outside your organization without advance permission from either the California Department of Social Services or the Department of Parks and Recreation
2. Confirming that pass applicants are active Tribal TANF recipients
3. Obtaining permission from the Tribal TANF recipient, including informing them that their name and address will be shared with the Department of Parks and Recreation for processing, printing, and mailing said pass.
4. Confirming your identity as a Tribal TANF administrator.
