Lancashire Mayoral Authority Business Survey

The Government has indicated its preference for greater devolution through directly elected Mayors, with many regions already operating under this model. Lancashire is considering whether to pursue similar arrangements.

The Chamber has not yet adopted a position on the introduction of an elected Mayor and wishes to understand the views of its members before doing so.
