2025 PACE Endorsement Questionnaire

Identifying Information & Relationship to Social Work

The National Association of Social Workers, Pennsylvania Chapter (NASW-PA) has just over 4,000 active members, and a potential reach of more than 10,000 social workers across the Commonwealth. When a candidate is endorsed by NASW-PA’s Political Action for Candidate Election (PACE) Committee, their name and information is distributed to Pennsylvania social workers in a variety of ways, including our website, social media, and e-news. Endorsed candidates will be considered for financial contributions.

If you are a new candidate running for office, some of these questions may not apply.  If so, write N/A.
4.Have you participated in any NASW-related events?  (Eg LEAD, division events, etc)  If so, please describe.(Required.)
5.Describe your relationship with social work schools (e.g. hosting student interns, speaking in classes).(Required.)
6.What connections or experiences, either personally or professionally, do you have with the social work profession?(Required.)
7.Candidates who include a letter of recommendation from a member of NASW-PA will be given the highest level of consideration, followed by candidates who include a letter from any Pennsylvania social worker.  Send those letters to jbyrd.naswpa@socialworkers.org.  Do you expect a letter to be sent on your behalf?(Required.)
