Research Objective: This research is aimed to better understand higher education institutions’ and relevant stakeholders’ perceptions about how stakeholder networks can better collaborate for impactful sustainability research and education at the community level. It is also intended to understand how existing initiatives connect to sustainable development goals and how valuable they are within local communities.
Your feedback will also help us to build knowledge about pressing challenges and opportunities in a multi-stakeholder collaboration scenario, so that education and research can be better targeted to achieve SDGs. This study also recommends ways of collaborating more effectively for the implementation of sustainability research and education within local communities. Best practices will be shared and disseminated through publications (academic articles, policy briefs, digital content, etc).
* Impactful Research and Education: For the purpose of this research impactful sustainability research and education will be understood as community-impact initiatives, driven by higher education institutions themselves, or in collaboration with external stakeholders (governments, industry, civil society organizations), to achieve SDGs at the community-level.
