Board Member Openings

It is time once again to reach out to our membership for support. We have several roles to fill for 2019. We also are always looking for committee members and volunteers to help us promote our chapter and search out/coordinator events for our chapter membership. Below is a breakdown of changes to the Midstate board beginning January 1.
  • Melody Erickson will be rolling off as President, as her term is expiring. Audry Deal-McEver will move from Vice President to President, leaving the Vice President position open. Audry has done a fantastic job supporting Melody over the past two years and will be a great asset to our chapter as President.
  • Greg Pine has supported our chapter as Treasurer for the past two years. He has chosen to leave the board to focus on other things. Greg has done a great job of keeping our financial records in shape as well as taking on additional projects in support of chapter outreach - we will miss him! Hannah Medina (currently on our Events Committee) will be stepping into the role of Treasurer in 2019.
  • Laurie Davis, who has supported our chapter for several years with expert PR advice and services - and for the past two years as Secretary, has chosen to move on. We appreciate her support over the years and wish her luck in all future endeavors. We will also be looking for additional members for the Communications Committee to support the incoming Secretary.
  • Catherine McMurray, who has been our Events Chair for more years than even she can remember, will be moving on as well. Catherine has worked hard behind the scenes to coordinate catering and/or providing food for our events, including chapter meetings. Hannah Medina has worked with Catherine this past year and will be stepping into the Events Chair role. We will be looking for additional committee members to support Hannah, as she will be leading dual roles beginning next year.
  • Julia Whitney-Brown will be vacating her role as Member Participation Coordinator. Julia has been responsible for coordinating tent loans as well.
Details of each open role can be found below. If you or someone you know would be a good fit for one of the roles listed, please submit their/your name and contact information.
