Confidentiality and Voluntary Participation agreement

1.This Confidentiality Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Cassi Misciagna ("Project Manager") and the individual ("Participant") participating in the Signs-sational Adventure Product Survey ("Survey"). This is an academic class project.

1. Purpose The purpose of this Survey is to gather feedback on a theoretical product under development for an academic project. In the course of participating, the Participant may be exposed to proprietary and confidential information related to this project.

2. Definition of Confidential Information "Confidential Information" includes, but is not limited to, all non-public information, data, materials, and concepts related to the Survey and the product being evaluated. This includes:

The product's features, design, and functionality.

The Survey questions and prompts.

Any non-public data, charts, or images shared during the Survey.

The academic, research, or development plans related to the project.

3. Obligation of Participant The Participant agrees to keep all Confidential Information strictly confidential. The Participant shall not, without the prior written consent of the Project Manager, disclose, share, publish, or use any Confidential Information for any purpose other than participation in the Survey. The Participant agrees to take all reasonable steps to protect the confidentiality of this information.

4. Data Anonymity and Dletion All data collected during this Survey will be completely anonymous. No personal identifying information will be collected or associated with the responses. All collected data will be deleted by fall 2026.

5. Exceptions to Confidential Information The obligations of confidentiality under this Agreement do not apply to information that:

Is or becomes publicly available through no fault of the Participant.

Is rightfully received by the Participant from a third party without a breach of confidentiality.

Was known by the Participant prior to its disclosure by the Project Manager, as evidenced by written records.

Is required to be disclosed by law or by a court order, provided the Participant gives the Project Manager prompt notice of such requirement.

6. No License or Ownership Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as granting the Participant any license, ownership, or intellectual property rights to the Confidential Information. All intellectual property rights remain with Cassi Misciagna.

7. Voluntary Participation Participation in this Survey is completely voluntary, and by continuing, you understand that you may withdraw from the Survey at any time without penalty.

8. By participating in this Survey, the Participant acknowledges that they have read and understood this Agreement and agree to be bound by its terms. The Participant's participation in the anonymous survey serves as acknowledgment of this Agreement.
