SWOP NSW Sex Worker Sensitivity Training - Businesses and Services Consultation

SWOP NSW are developing a training program that will directly support stigma reduction, workforce development, and improved service access for sex workers.

We aim to deliver this training to businesses and service providers across sectors including (but not limited to);
  • Government (police, local council, department of communities and justice, immigration)
  • Health (clinicians, counsellors/therapists, individual GPs and health practices)
  • Finance (banking and accounting)
  • Legal services
  • Education (universities and researchers)
  • Community services (housing, AOD)
  • Wellness and lifestyle (pole studios, intimacy coaches)
  • Adult boutiques and pleasure stores
  • Real estate agencies
  • Photography and content production studios
  • Escort directories and advertising platforms
  • Allied advocacy and community organisations

We are conducting this survey to gauge where there are gaps in understanding about sex work from businesses and service providers, and what you/your business or organisation would like to know about sex work. We will tailor our training based on this feedback. This should only take 5 minutes of your time to complete. Your answers will be collected anonymously.

SWOP NSW appreciates your feedback and look forward to launching this program.
