EBA 2019 Winter Conference Call for Speakers
Current Environmental Bankers Association (EBA) members are invited and encouraged to propose presentations for the January 20 to 23, 2019 conference in New Orleans, LA. To be considered for selection, please complete this submission form by October 5, 2018.
Proposed presentations should in the 20 to 25 minute range with time allowed after for questions and commentary. While not essential, care should be given to include the banking risk management perspective. You are encouraged to seek out banking members to contribute to your presentation and/or sit on your panel. Selected presentations will be positioned throughout the conference. We do our best to offer attendees a wide variety of topics tailored to current issues and risk drivers in the banking, real estate, and environmental fields. In addition, we are looking for presentations that focus on regional-specific (e.g., New Orleans area) topics with panels consisting of the applicable players (e.g., regulatory agency, environmental consultant, developer, lender, etc.). Since this is our 25th anniversary year, and we may take a look back at where we came from, we would like to suggest topics that are also forward-looking, or even speculative. What will drive our industry in the future? Feel free to take a reasoned look into your crystal ball.

Please note that presentations should be tailored to include a “take away for bankers” or be focused on the bankers’ perspective.
TIMELINE:
Friday, October 5, 2018: All presentation proposals must be received by the EBA for consideration.
Friday, November 2, 2018: Notification will be made after selections are determined.
Friday, December 7, 2018: EBA Speakers must be registered in their applicable attendee category to attend the Conference.
Friday, January 4, 2019: Final conference presentation and materials due to EBA.
