In November 2016, the segment of Argyle Street between Broadway and Sheridan opened as the first Shared Street in the City of Chicago. Argyle Shared Street improvements are two-fold. First, improvements include changes to the configuration of the roadway intended to slow travel speed and increase the likelihood of eye contact between users to negotiate passage, creating a safer environment for everyone using the street.

This survey is intended to help CDOT learn how you as an Argyle Shared Street visitor or resident understand the Shared Street, use the Shared Street, and what you perceive as direct and indirect benefits of the Shared Street improvements. Your responses will remain confidential and anonymous.

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Thank you in advance for your time.
