Project Background
Inspired by the 50th anniversary of the National Preservation Act, Colorado Preservation Inc., and Clarion Associates, in close collaboration with the History Colorado State Historical Fund, are excited to announce the 2016/2017 update and expansion of The Economic Benefits of Historic Preservation in Colorado!
The goal of this project is to show how communities can integrate preservation into larger economic development, place-making, and community-building strategies – and how historic preservation is an excellent local investment!
Final products will include a user-friendly popular report, a detailed technical report, and a new website that contains all project findings in a creative, attractive online format.
