A summary of parent opinions will be provided to the Board of Education.

The Board of Education has designed Hybrid Instruction to protect both staff and students from COVID-19.  Within the school system, older staff members were the most likely to have serious consequences from infection.  Staff members have now been offered the vaccine, diminishing the risk of infection, and serious complications from the disease.

Students will likely not have access to the vaccine for many months. However, the risk of serious complications among children is supposedly much less than for adults.

The Board of Education is weighing the situation with a vaccinated staff, and unvaccinated students.  It will be deciding to keep things the same, or to expand services to look more like normal school.  Your input is critical in that determination.
