Expression of Interest - Member of the PCV Child Safety Committee

Pony Club Victoria are actively seeking interested individuals with the appropriate skills and experience to become members of our Child Safety Committee (CSC).

Please read the following information, and if you feel you have the ability to fulfil the needs of the CSC, please complete the Expression of Interest by the due by 13 April 2022.

The CSC's Purpose:
The CSC is appointed by the Board of PCV to ensure PCV maintains the highest standards of child safety and is compliant with all relevant legislation, including the:

· Implementation of all new Child Safe Standards, both Victorian &/or National.

· The maintenance of all associated policies and procedures.

· Management of all Working with Children Check requirements.

· Advise PCV on appropriate support mechanisms for its affiliates and members.

Authority
The CSC is charged with the responsibilities outline above, with all decisions and recommendations requiring ratification by the PCV Board.

Membership
The membership of the CSC will be comprised of PCV Board, State Council and office representation, along with additional members who are identified that provide essential skills and/or knowledge is required by the CSC to achieve its purpose.

Meeting arrangements
Meeting frequency is at the discretion of the CSC, but in the first instance, it is envisaged that the meetings would occur monthly.
