This is a study about reactions to romantic breakups. Some of the questions also pertain to your Facebook activity. More specifically, this study explores the ways that people maintain awareness of ex-partners through Facebook. This study has been approved by the Brunel University Psychology Research Ethics Committee. It should take about 15 minutes to complete. All responses are completely anonymous and confidential. You must fulfill the following criteria to be included in this study:

1. You must be at least 18 years old.

2. You must have a Facebook account.

3. You must have experienced at least one relationship breakup with someone who also has a Facebook account.

4. You must complete this survey while alone.

5. You can only respond to this survey once.

There are no potential risks to participating in this research; in fact, you may actually gain some insight into your reaction to romantic breakups.
