Social Sciences Resource Survey

As you may know work is underway to refresh the NZC and to replace TKI with a new online curriculum hub. In anticipation of this work the Ministry of Education is reviewing social sciences resources to find those that are fit for purpose for the new hub.

The purpose of this survey is to explore which year 1-10 social sciences resources are used by New Zealand teachers, and to identify any gaps where more resources are needed.
First, tell us a little about yourself ...
1.Where do you teach?
2.How many years have you been teaching
3.What year level do you teach?
Now, let's talk about teaching social science ...
4.What is the main way you currently search for social science resources?
5.What online resources do you recommend to support teaching social science? (add as many as you like)
6.What people resources do you use to support teaching and learning in social science?
7.What physical resources do you recommend to support teaching social science? (eg. field trip locations, local landmarks, equipment etc.)
8.Which of these TKI resources have you used for teaching social sciences?
9.If you have used these TKI sites, are there any particular resources you recommend?
10.Are there any social science topics/contexts that you think need to have more resources available? (list as many as you like)
11.Would you be willing to be contacted to talk more about your answers?
