Introduction and Thank You

Each year the Committee on Shared Ministry (COSM) seeks feedback on one area of shared ministry. (Within the Fellowship, these areas are referred to as "clusters.") The purpose of this process is to identify strengths as well as potential needs for improvement. Survey summary results are provided to UUFA members annually, and, to assist in strategic planning, detailed reports are shared with the UUFA Board, UUFA Minister, and the relevant Lay Minister. The Lay Minister in turn shares relevant findings with each individual committee or team within the cluster.

This year we are focusing on the “Lifespan Development/Education“ cluster, which includes the following: Forum, Adult Religious Exploration (classes and book group), Children’s Religious Exploration, Small Group Ministry, Enrichment Activities, Leadership Development, and Volunteer Recognition. You may notice that a large portion of the survey is devoted to Children’s Religious Exploration. Reverend Eskildsen and the COSM committee agreed that the transition of the Director of Religious Exploration position provides a perfect time and opportunity for the congregation to give feedback regarding the direction of this important program. We appreciate your help in assessing Children’s RE as well as our Lifespan Development and Education cluster as a whole. Please help us out by taking some time to complete this survey which will help guide decisions regarding the future of our congregation. We want to hear from you!

Please note that only some of the questions have a comments space immediately following the question, but you may comment on any of the questions in the comments space at the end of the survey.

Thank you so much for taking the time to help us gather information that will help keep UUFA programs evolving in ways that best serve everyone in our Fellowship.
