You are invited to join Consumer Action for a free, in-person train-the-trainer event that will help you educate the communities you serve on how to protect their privacy and exercise their rights under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA) and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We'll also be unveiling three new TCPA- and ID theft publications, which are free for use in the work you do to empower your clients and communities. This training is designed for nonprofit and community-based educators and advocates working in the Fresno and greater Central Valley area and surrounding region. You’ll also learn about a financial education mini-grant program that training participants will be eligible to apply for.
