This survey seeks to better understand the experiences of family members and loved ones who have someone incarcerated in a Yolo County jail. We are interested in learning about families’ experiences communicating with their loved ones, visiting the jail, sharing important medical and mental health information, accessing information and services, and supporting their loved one’s transition back into the community.
Your responses will help identify what is working well, what barriers families encounter, and where there may be opportunities to improve communication, mental health care, family engagement, and reentry support.
Please answer based on your own experience. If you do not know the answer to a question or do not have enough information to respond, you may leave the question blank where applicable.
Please do not include your loved one’s name or other identifying information in your responses to open-ended questions.
