Question Title

* 20. Mentor Matching Acknowledgment:

Matching Process:
  • Mentees review Mentors’ bios on the AAPA website. Mentees create a profile on the Members Portal to begin networking online with fellow Mentees and Mentors. Please create a profile by Orientation Day.
  • Meet the Mentors - Mentees attend the Orientation Day to learn about the program and hear from Mentors' experiences.
  • After the Orientation, Mentees submit their requests for their top three Mentor preferences. The Mentees’ first Mentor preference will be given a matching priority. If the Mentee does not indicate any preferences, a Mentor will be assigned based on goals, interests, industry preferences, mentors’ backgrounds, experience, and availability.
  • Mentors will also review the Mentees’ applications and resumes. Matching will occur on a first come first serve basis as Mentor preferences are submitted.
  • Mentees initiate the one-on-one partnership by contacting their Mentor to schedule their first meeting. Mentees are expected to initiate meetings with their Mentors throughout the entirety of the program.

I acknowledge by typing my full name below that I have read and agree with the guidelines and requirements for participation in the matching process of the Mentorship Program.
