CrossWinds Church Children and Student Ministry Volunteer Application

We are excited you feel called to serve the children and youth of CrossWinds Church! Our children’s and student ministries are not just “programs.” They are ministry done in the name of Jesus. We ask you to affirm Jesus Christ as your Savior and to strive to live a life that demonstrates He is also your Lord. We also ask you how God has shaped you to serve in your role.

Parents have entrusted their kids and teens to our care. As ministry leaders it is imperative we do all we can to safeguard our children and students from any harm. We want to make sure our ministry never dishonors Jesus. We require that all staff and volunteers working with those 18 years and younger formally apply to serve in their respective ministry. This includes a background check by Verified First, an independent third-party background check service. (https://www.verifiedfirst.com) This process fulfills the expectations of the CrossWinds Church Leadership Board. Understand the results will remain fully confidential. Volunteer approval may also involve an interview.
