Grace Doffin was a beautiful baby girl who touched the lives of everyone she met her during her 10 months of life. In gratitude for her life, and with a desire that she never be forgotten, the Doffin Family established this annual award to recognize outstanding intensive care registered nurses— like those who cared for Grace—at University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital.

If your life has been touched by a pediatric intensive care nurse, we welcome you to nominate her/him for the Grace Doffin Award. The winning nurse will receive financial support to further his/her intensive care nursing education. Eligible nurses must work on one of the following care units:

• Pediatric Intensive Care (Unit 3)
• Cardiovascular Intensive Care (Unit 3)
• Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU)

The award will be made in September, in honor of Grace’s birth month. Nominations can be made at any time during the year; however, to be included in consideration for the current calendar year, nominations must be made by July 1. Any nominations received after July 1 will be considered in the following year.

The Doffin family and University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital Parent Advisory Board will select the winning nurse.
