The Greensboro Science Center is a 501(c)3, not-for-profit organization committed to excellence in science education by providing the community with a dynamic, experiential and family-focused attraction designed to inspire scientific curiosity as well as encourage personal discovery about life and the natural world. Visitors to the GSC enjoy of variety of science-based attractions.

Our zoo and aquarium are fully accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, and our museum is accredited by the American Association of Museums. These accreditations ensure that the GSC meets the highest standards of measure for zoos, museums and aquariums, benefiting our visitors and members.

Maintaining a facility of this capacity requires competitive admission prices to offset expenses. The expendable dollars of the community provide support for the GSC to adequately house and care for both its living and non-living collections. We understand that paying full-priced general admission may not be possible for everyone. For this reason, we've established the Group Visit Scholarship Assistance Fund, a fund for organizations to help them offset their admission costs.
