Senior and Community Groups

The Ann Arbor Farmers Market would like to invite your group of community members for a valuable, enriching outing opportunity. The Market is a wonderful and unique place with a wide variety of opportunities for learning - and a rich history of its own. A visit to the Market provides visitors the opportunity to purchase fresh, nutritious, unprepared, unprocessed, locally grown fruits, vegetables, honey and fresh-cut herbs. It also connects them to the local food scene allowing them to speak directly with the farmer. The cost of an Ann Arbor Farmers Market field trip is FREE! However, Market tokens are available for purchase to enhance your Farmers Market experience. Visitors may spend $5 wooden tokens on items available for purchase at the market - a great tool for team work, meal planning, plate building, etc! Let us know ahead of time and we can have your tokens ready when you arrive.

Allow the Farmers Market to make your visit extra special by providing a comfortable space for your group to come together and enjoy some coffee and share their purchases.

If you are a large bus, notify Market staff of your arrival time and we will assist you with unloading passengers. While we do not have the room for large vehicles to park, staff will remove the parking barrier when you arrive to allow you to pull into the lot. Passengers may exit the bus on site at market, before the bus leaves to find parking.
